Black Friday Ad for Wal-Mart Gets Confirmed
The Wal-Mart black Friday ad was put into circulation through unauthorized sources. The Wal-mart team sicked their lawyers on the offender and the ads were removed. Now they are just saying to heck with it and posting it out there for everybody to see.
BlackFriday.Info founder Jon Vincent called Wal-Mart after he was emailed a copy of the upcoming circular. Wal-Mart agreed to let him post the entire circular to their website. They finally realized they could not stop the internet from leaking the ads.
They have confirmed six of their black Friday deals to CNN. Some of the leaked ads contained prices on video games and DVDs. An HDTV has also been included in the confirmed list but do not get too excited each store only has a few in stock for the sale.
Vincent understands their reasoning behind keeping their ad a secret but thinks their ad is one of the best ads so far. Does it matter when the ad gets exposed to the consumer? The consumers will shop wherever the deals are the best on the items they want regardless if whose ad came out first.
